     My music video as a whole is very visual and requires little to no higher level thinking to understand fully. I made sure if this by carefully selecting what and what not to put into each scene. 

Scene 1: The title card with the words “Rags to Riches Filmed and directed by Thomas smith.” This title card has a moving back ground with ashes from a fire which just adds to the aesthetic of the music video.

Scene 2: The first of three zoomed in shots on the materialistic items on my body such as the chains and earrings in this shot.

Scene 3: The second of three zoomed in shots, but this time showcasing my watch and ring. The watch and ring are both gold adding to the feeling of luxury.

Scene 4: The third and final of these array of zoomed shots, this time, showing my shoes (Nike vapor max plus ice white).

Scene 5: A fully body shot showing the complete ensemble from the last three scenes. This is supposed to show the after and everything leading up to the final scenes will be the before where I was struggling in life. 

Scene 6: The first of many jump cut scenes with a large title showing a time jump, with this being the biggest one going back 10 years to when I was 6. 

Scene 7: The first scene involving an actor that plays me other than myself. This was a shit of my younger cousins posing as me against the fence to go along with the lyrics in the song, “project fences.”

Scene 8: The second jump cut with this time, the amount of years that has passed is 5, making me 11 at the time portrayed. 

Scene 9: A shot of my younger cousin posing as me doing homework at the dinning table like I used to do when I was 11 years old. This shows the final moments before I realized I hard to work for what I wanted and is the last scene with someone else other than me playing myself.

Scene 10: A jump cut to another title card that shows a time jump of 4 years, making me 15 or one year younger than I am today.

Scene 11: Is a scene of my driving my car at the moment which is a keep wrangler 1997. This shows that I’ve gained enough riches to buy my first car like I did in real life.

Scene 12: Takes place right after a jump cut saying present day, where I am now driving a nice car, and have nice materialistic items.

- What titles are displayed during the opening sequences? The titles displayed in the opening sequence are the studio title, the production companies, and the movie title. These are Universal, Blumhouse, Platinum Dunes, and The First Purge respectively. Like Ma, these are the only titles displayed in the opening sequence, meaning that the actors, producers, directors, etc aren't shown until the end credits. The font of the title is extremely and colored with the colors of a moving USA flag, red white, and blue.  - What images are prioritized in the opening sequence? Planning: Title design

Working Title:  STAND YOUR GROUND The opening titles of my film will appear in a digital font at size 17 for the titles and 14 for the names. Titles will be bolded but not fully capitalized with a few exclusions. Names will be written in black font with last names in purple font.  Titles will be faded in and out from the bottom left quarter of the screen. AICE Media Studies Production Blog: Wrapping Up

      Difficult is the word I would to describe filming anything over 10 minutes. Punishing is the word I would use to describe this project. The fact that we are in the middle of a global pandemic and are still held to the same standards as if we were not is truly sickening. This project along with many of my other Cambridge ones have been mentally and physically draining. The amount of energy needed to continuously push through this school year is completely absurd. We are students, more over children. We have lives, many of which have been on hold due to the pandemic. I cannot stress to you how many times I have contemplated the unthinkable this school year. I’ve lost almost everything, from my girlfriend in a tragic accident to my grades; I’ve even lost my hope and trust in people.
