Planning: StoryBoard










I found it extremely difficult to draw for so many scenes. The sheer amount of storyboarding was a bit overwhelming. But with the right push from my teachers and the realization that it could've been way worse, I completed this assignment. I feel like I should've entered in more scenes but due to my time limit of 2 mins, I knew that I had to limit my scenes to what will b able to fit in the opening. I hope that that isn't the same for filming and that my opening is over 2 min when filming.

Planning Blog: Location, Participants, Health, and Schedule

 Schedule Because of my complex and tentative track schedule, the only days I will be able to film are Sundays. I have practice Monday through Friday from 3:15 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., which only allows me to film after 6:30 p.m.(the time I get home). I have Sundays off completely, which means that I can start filming at 9 a.m. This allows me to have a day filled with filming so I can reshoot the same scene at different times of the day and choose which one to use in post-production. 3/7/21 - Filming begins. All scenes involving the intruder(Jalil) will be filmed on this day. Jalil also runs tracks s this is one of his few free days, which means that scenes 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 16. 3/14/21 - Filming continues. All scenes will be shot today which includes the scenes with my parents and myself. Genre Research: Us

      To begin analyzing the elements of this genre in individual movies, I started off with my favorite thriller, Us directed by Jordan Peele. This movie came out in the spring of 2019 and I had the best experience viewing it for the first time in an IMAX theater. This movie uses the scares and horror component of thrillers to its absolute advantage. There are several brutal kills with plenty of gore in this film. That is something not as prominent in thriller films but Us do follow the outline of thrillers in other ways.      Like most thrillers and eventually mine, there are aspects of Us that tell you exactly what is happening. A prime example of this is the external conflict between the characters.  The doppelgangers of humanity are killing their counterparts, whom they are tethered to.
