After them, the final image prioritized in the opening scene is the setting, Brooklin, New York.

The connotations carried by are grim and fearful. The main antagonist (the one with scars) is aesthetically frightening. The constant new reports create an undivided and politically unrested atmosphere.

The film establishes the feeling of a political thriller by making the motive of the antagonist clear, to kill the poorer population who wouldn't have voted in his favor.
