Planning Blog: Location, Participants, Health, and Schedule

 Schedule

Because of my complex and tentative track schedule, the only days I will be able to film are Sundays. I have practice Monday through Friday from 3:15 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., which only allows me to film after 6:30 p.m.(the time I get home). I have Sundays off completely, which means that I can start filming at 9 a.m. This allows me to have a day filled with filming so I can reshoot the same scene at different times of the day and choose which one to use in post-production.

3/7/21 - Filming begins. All scenes involving the intruder(Jalil) will be filmed on this day. Jalil also runs tracks s this is one of his few free days, which means that scenes 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 16.

3/14/21 - Filming continues. All scenes will be shot today which includes the scenes with my parents and myself. In the scenes involving myself, my brother will take over for filming but I will still continue to direct.

3/21/21 - Filming is haulted temporarily for spring break. As a personal mental health precussion, I decided to take the whole week of spring break off. The only thing that might get done is editing on my free time.

3/28/21 to 4/3/21 - Editing official begins. I will start editing all of my scenes together during my free time and most likely, my study hall.

4/4/21 - Reshoots for any scene that is not to my liking. I have a strong feeling that I am going to struggle with filming scenes 10-16, so i will be reshooting those  scenes on this day.

4/5/21 to 4/11/21 - Editing finishes. This will be my last week of editing where I enter in my titles.

Location

I will be filming at my house and the approaching street.

Health and Saftey:

To ensure the safety of everyone on set, I limited my cast and crew only to family. I take Covid-19 procedures very seriously and will ensure that they are followed accordingly. I plan to have everyone who was one set tested once filming commences. As for other physical safety procedures, I will try my best to limit hazards on my set. There will be no scenes involving fire and the more dangerous scenes I had in my head will not be shot. In case of fire, there is always two fire extinguishers in my home. In case of injury, we have one first aid kit, so everyone should go smoothly as planned.
